LATER THAT DAY

In this series, black-and-white photographs are paired with simple, ambiguous phrases such as “later that day.” These subtle fragments of language hint at events that may belong to the past, present, or future. The text remains intentionally neutral, offering only the slightest suggestion of time, action, or memory, rather than directing a specific emotional response. By withholding certainty, the work invites viewers to inhabit the space between image and text—constructing their own narratives and deciding whether what they see is hopeful, unsettling, or somewhere in between.
