WORD+IMAGE
My work explores the relationship between words and images, and how language can transform the meaning of what we see. A single word can alter a viewer’s emotions, shifting how they experience an image and the story it tells. I am interested in how these subtle changes open new narratives and invite multiple interpretations.
As a dyslexic artist, I’ve transformed an early fear of words into a fascination.
Through photography, text and mixed media, I bring word and image together to create works that question how stories are constructed and how meaning and emotion can shift with context.
